I must say, like everyone else I was pretty hesitant to
buy something from someone I didn't know, over the
internet.
I tried everything I could to create traffic to my
website. It wasn't working. I (eventually) purchased
your "Myspace Magic Manuscript" and it walked me through
building a Myspace Music site.
I followed your directions closely and created my
site. I have two of them, in fact. I couldn't
imagine letting people have access to my songs without
paying for them, but you were right, if they like 4
songs, they will most likely buy your CD.
I now
have over 3,500 fans on one site and my first CD
pressing is sold out and we haven't completed the
CD yet.
I even got a very kind comment on my site from Actress,
Susan Lucci and from Country Music Icon, Barbara
Mandrell. Both of their comments are still on my front
page.
I have gotten hundreds of very good comments from some
of the best Indie Artist on the internet.
I currently have hundreds of fans who are themselves
Indie Recording Artist, some of the best music and

underground radio network and they told me that my song,
Scarred For Life, about child abuse, was in their top

6! I am one to admit, the proof is in the pudding.
I have fans and supporters to my Scarred For Life, child
abuse project, who have over a hundred thousand fans and
they are selling tens of thousands of CD's.
Some are unheard of on commercial radio, but they are
huge on Myspace Music and selling tons of records.
My hat is off to you and I truly appreciate the two
programs that I bought from you. I
n a couple months some industry folks are helping
re-release Scarred For Life and now I have a really nice
fan base that will be requesting air play for it.

"The old model for a band,"
says Eric Berk, bassist of the Hoboken, N.J.-based rock
group Full Out Freak, "was to put your music together,
then play shows and pray that a record company finds you.
The only way you were ever going to make it out there was
to capture the ear of somebody at a record company, who
would then put you on a bus, send you on tour and help you
survive.
"We discovered something called
MySpace, and we thought it was the way of the future. You
make your music, you put it up on a Web site, you let
people discover it and then they'll go on to tell others,"
Berk says. "The new model is where you go directly to the
end listener and bypass the ears of the record company —
and the record company now finds out about you from the
fans who flock your way."
